KellyDown 4.01 is the current version of Agilis’ well-planning and directional drilling software, with the latest build being 4.01.08.05 (released April 6, 2026).

About KellyDown 4.01

KellyDown is designed for well-planners and directional drilling coordinators, used both in the office and at the rig site. It combines well planning, survey management, anti-collision analysis, and drilling reporting into a single multi-well relational database application.

Core capabilities include:

  • Well Planning: Sophisticated spreadsheet interface with “first-guess” solutions, supporting simple “S” wells through multi-stage 3D extended-reach wells.

  • Survey Editor: Intelligent data recognition, smart paste from PDFs, and comprehensive editing (MD adjustments, azimuth declination corrections, tool calibration errors).

  • Anti-Collision: Comprehensive module for proximity testing against adjacent wells, with 3D visualization via the Visualiser module.

  • Project Ahead: Correction Run, Ouija Board, Build/Drop/Turn, and Trend Analysis modules for hitting targets.

  • Drilling Records & Reports: Slide sheets, BHA reports, daily drilling reports, and invoice/cost tracking.

  • Data Import/Export: Full project transfer between databases, plus import from Landmark Compass transfer files.
