Deeper Synopsys Silver Integration for Virtual ECUs
CarMaker 15.0 consolidates its connection with Synopsys Silver. Direct access to the Silver Virtual Bus (SVB) allows multiple virtual ECUs (vECUs) from a single Silver instance to be integrated into a CarMaker test setup. This shortens test cycles and boosts efficiency by up to 20% according to IPG, enabling software and system tests at the earliest development stages .
Advanced Ground Truth & RSI Sensor Models
For ADAS and autonomous driving, the continuously optimized Ground Truth Sensor delivers high-precision, configurable data with accurate occlusion handling. The RSI sensor models receive optimized rendering and ray-tracing algorithms for improved detection quality, plus generic ray-tracing access for maximum flexibility and project-specific customization .
RSDA: Raw Signal Data Access Pipeline

Enhanced Road Modeling with OpenDRIVE 1.8
Full support for the standardized Cross Section Surface definition in OpenDRIVE 1.8, enabling import and export of lateral road surface elevation. This allows highly realistic virtual road networks with banked curves, slopes, and surface variations .
Road-to-Rig Endurance Testing
