🔧 Key Fixes and Improvements in SP1

Based on third-party release notes, SP1 is primarily a maintenance update addressing specific issues across various modules :

Gears & Shafts

  • Gear Body Overlap Fixed: Corrected the overlap between the gear body and gear geometry in the 3D viewer (affecting gear calculation, shaft calculation, and KISSdesign) .

  • Shaft Solver Convergence: Improved convergence for classic bearing calculation in certain cases .

  • KWK,RS Factor (FKM): Corrected the formula for estimating fatigue limit of surface-treated components .

  • Load Spectrum Temperature Input: The temperature input field in the load spectrum table now displays correctly .

Cylindrical Gears & Contact Analysis

  • YCHD/ZCHD Factors (FVA 271): Now properly consider the min/max hardening depth defined by the user .

  • Scuffing Results: Scuffing results per bin are now shown again in the special load spectrum report .

  • Contact Analysis Graphics: Missing texts and legends have been restored .

Other Modules

  • Sketcher: Annotation improvements and better data update between annotations and element editor .
