QPS Qinsy 9.10.0: Hydrographic Data Acquisition Software

QPS Qinsy 9.10.0 is the latest release of QPS’s hydrographic data acquisition and processing software, released August 27, 2026. This version focuses on resolving long-standing stability issues and introducing practical new capabilities for marine survey operations.

Key New Features in 9.10.0

DTM Socket Output

Multibeam coverage can now be extended to PS/SB track Easting/Northing coordinates.

GeoTIFF DEM Support

Survey Manager now supports tiled DEM GeoTIFF files for improved terrain data handling.

KML Export Enhancement

New “Altitude reference” option added when exporting KML from QGF.

Legend Panel

Survey Manager’s Profile pane now includes a separate legend docking panel, replacing the previous legend embedded in Profile elements.
