Fracpro 2024 v10.13.22 / Stimpro 2024 v10.13.23 Other available versions: 2023 10.13.10,2022 10.12.11,2021 10.11.56,2019 10.10.26,2019 10.10.13,2018 10.9.42Fracpro The system provides engineers with the most comprehensive hydraulic fracturing design and analysis tools.

Fracpro is more than just a hydraulic fracturing simulator; its core distinction from competitors lies in practical application of real-world processing data.

Using authentic data enables engineers to better understand their well’s response, thereby developing procedures that reflect reservoir conditions before, during, and after hydraulic fracturing.

Fracpro was developed for gas supply projects at the Natural Gas Technology Institute.

It is now used in numerous commercial applications across global natural gas, oil, and geothermal reservoirs.

The lumped-parameter 3D hydraulic fracturing model (not to be confused with pseudo-3D models) accurately represents the complexity and realism of hydraulic fracturing.

Fracpro was designed to integrate insights gained from actual hydraulic fracturing operations with results obtained from appropriately scaled laboratory models.

It employs lumped-parameter function coefficients determined from these sources to reliably solve hydraulic fracture sizing, proppant placement, and water fracturing pressure calculations.

StrataGen’s latest version of industry-leading hydraulic fracturing design and analysis software FRACPRO 2024: What’s new!

This release enhances the accuracy and speed of existing models.

It integrates numerous advanced features to address field challenges faced by our extensive customer base.

New and enhanced features include:
• A new ISIP (Instantaneous Shut-in Pressure) calculation method added to existing options.

This method applies when wellbore storage and/or surrounding fracture complexity obscures clear observation of this critical parameter.

• A new closed pressure calculation method introduced to existing options.

This approach considers rock flexibility’s impact on fracture closure.

• Added asymmetric fracture simulation (considering parent-child interaction) functionality.

When drilling and completing co-located sub Wells in the same area, this feature accounts for priority fracture growth in the depleted zone of the parent Well.

This new capability enhances FRACPRO’s hydraulic fracturing modeling capabilities when maximizing oil and gas recovery.

• Improved logging processing capabilities and quality.

Stratigraphic lithology is calculated and incorporated into analysis.

Lithology is computed based on uploaded logging data.

The calculation accuracy of rock physical properties and mechanical properties required for fracture design has been enhanced.

• Improved selective fracture simulation for multi-stage perforations.

Added completion type options in the F4 screen for fracture analysis to simulate fractures with multiple perforation groups.

This option is used for selective fracture stimulation during a single intervention.

• Improved stress shadow simulation between fractures and/or stages.

The stress shadow effect has been modified to better reproduce field observations.

• Enhanced 3D visualization for reservoirs with multiple fractures and/or wellbores.

The 3D view’s speed and stability have been enhanced when displaying multiple fractures within a wellbore or multiple wells.

• Optimized lithology mapping.

We now use standardized lithology maps.

• Improved fracture model stability for reservoirs with complex modulus profiles.

Fracture dimensions oscillate when reservoir Young’s modulus varies significantly.
