Midas Civil NX 2024—Bridge and Civil Engineering Structures Analysis & Design Program

Intuitive Modeling Environment

We offer a user-friendly working environment optimized for the Windows platform. It features various menu systems, task panes, and auxiliary windows such as the Tree Menu. Users can also customize the toolbars. In particular, the Works Tree organizes a series of processes, from model input to analysis and design, in a hierarchical structure. This helps experts and beginners perform effective tasks without errors by guiding them through the necessary procedures and allowing access to various related dialogs.

Easy Modeling with Various Wizards

Through a variety of Wizards designed with consideration for structural engineering practices, you can easily model, RC structures, frames, culverts, underground stations, and more. Specifically, using the Bridge Wizard, you can significantly reduce modeling time for complex bridge types like cable-stayed bridges, suspension bridges, PSC bridges (ILM/FCM/MSS/FSM Bridge), and composite bridges (Steel Composite/Prestressed Composite Bridge), in addition to conventional bridges. This makes it suitable for practical applications in civil engineering.

Auto-mesh Feature for Modeling Complex Structures

Unlike bridges, general civil engineering structures often have complex shapes. Creating finite element models for these complex shapes can be time-consuming as it involves considering element connectivity. However, when the Auto-mesh feature is applied, it automatically generates the element mesh, taking into account connectivity with adjacent elements. This significantly reduces the time required for finite element modeling tasks. Additionally, the Auto-mesh feature provides both triangular and quadrilateral elements, assisting designers in creating high-quality element meshes as needed.
