ew Monitoring Menu & Simulation
A completely new main-menu item called Monitoring has been added. It allows users to perform pre-production experiments assessing the applicability of broadband and monochromatic optical monitoring for different coating types. This includes:
-
Monitoring Spreadsheet: A redesigned tool for creating and analyzing monochromatic monitoring spreadsheets, with multi-chip support, an integrated error analysis panel, and export to Bühler Leybold and Optorun formats .
-
Monitoring Simulation: Wizards for both broadband and monochromatic monitoring simulation, with four automatic wavelength-selection strategies (Most Sensitive Wavelength, Least Cumulative Errors, Wavelength Screening, Swing Optimization) .
-
Batch Experiments: Capable of running up to 1,000 independent virtual deposition experiments in parallel .
Extended Target Specifications
-
Thickness/Stress Target: Now fully operational, allowing linear combinations of material thicknesses as optimization targets. Based on the Stoney formula, it can encode stress-balance conditions without requiring detailed mechanical property knowledge .
-
Color Target: Significantly improved, with faster optimization and graphical preview of entered coordinates. Supports up to 99 simultaneous color targets and range targets defined as convex polygons .
