CAESAR II is a stress analysis software used for mechanical design and analysis of pipeline systems. You can create a model of a pipeline system and define the load conditions applied by the system. Based on these inputs, the software will generate results such as displacement, load, and stress in the system. In addition, the software compares these results with the limits specified by recognized codes and standards.

New and improved features for CAESARII v13.00

The latest version of CAESAR II provides new and expanded features in response to current market demand and feedback from the CAESAR II user community.

In CAESARII v13.00, support has been added for ASME B31J-2017, which is used to calculate stress enhancement factors (i-Factors) and flexibility factors (k-Factors) in the 2020 versions of ASME B31.1, B31.3, and B31.9 pipeline codes. These features can be used in conjunction with other metal pipeline codes and support selection between ASME B31J and other codes. We have integrated these new features into various modules of the software to support more accurate stress analysis for users.

In addition, support for multiple pipeline code versions has been updated. We have added support for pipeline code versions such as B31.1, B31.3, B31.5, B31.8, B31.9, and EN-13480-3:2017/A4:2021. At the same time, we also support multiple versions of wind and earthquake codes, such as the Canadian National Building Code and the International Building Code. In addition, the equipment code API 610 has been updated to the 12th edition in January 2021.

The CAESAR II v13 version provides many new features and improvements to meet current market demands and feedback from the CAESAR II user community. Whether you are conducting stress analysis or design work, this version will provide more tools and support for your pipeline engineering project.
